Field Notes

Description:

They are black in colour with golden gaster (ant abdomen), moderately large (10 mm in body length), and have spines on mesosoma and petiole.

Habitat:

Regularly see this particular type in the grounds of my local church. This one and many others were scurrying along one of the cement paths near the church cemetery
