Description:

Like the Redshanks these birds will feed until the tide comes in again, then go off to rest until the next tide.

Habitat:

Tidal river mudflats

Notes:

The other bird in the final 2 pictures is a Grey Plover. It can be told by the much shorter, straight bill.
