Field Notes

Description:

Looked to be in perfect health, with the beautiful patterning still displayed even at 5ft in length.

Habitat:

Located on the bank of the Hidden Lake in some tall grass. It was only a few feet from the water, and headed towards the water when disturbed.

Notes:

Did not like the hook, and was quick to pose for a strike. I was finding these at least once a day in early Spring, but have yet to see any more since June.
