Field Notes

Description:

Shot from inside the front glass door of our house. There is a wild apple tree of some sort in the fringe of the front yard, that seems to attract deer fairly often during the season. This particular male was an amazing example of the breed!

Habitat:

Maine coastal region, wooded habitat. We have a fairly good sized nature reserve, Rachel Carson, pretty close to us, where many deer are seen. Our development is an area among a dwindling forest between US1 & I-95.

Notes:

Wow, look at that rack!
