Field Notes

Description:

Shaped like an UFO...or a shield if you like. Two transverse lines across the wings. Hooked tips to wings. Hooktip moth?

Habitat:

Neora Valley Jungle Camp. About 3 hours drive from the coordinates shown. Remote hilly forested area. Himalayan foothills. It was sitting on the widow pane of the cottage we stayed in...the curtains had to be drawn (the pink blotches in the background) to allow me to get just one usable photo.
