Description:

Swamp Milkweed Leaf Beetle found devouring my young milkweed plants. As upset as I was about it eating all of my monarch plants, it was too pretty not to snap a picture. I'm fascinated by the faint lines of yellowish dots running down its elytra.

Habitat:

Potted milkweed plants, rural deciduous area, Clermont County
