Field Notes

Description:

White/light yellow moth, 3 cm wingspan, with two comma-like dots on its forewings, the wings form two bands one clear reddish medial and one vague behind it, as well as an uncomplete top line.

Habitat:

Man made pond, dense undervegetation, leaf forest, farmland.

Notes:

Blood Vein (Timandra comae) or (Timandra griseata)? https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/473450-Timandra-griseata/browse_photos, https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/132885-Timandra-comae

Decided to go for T. comae based on the forewing-spots looking like a comma. Otherwise the species are very similar.
