This picture gave me a new perspective into the way a hummingbirds eyes look. Winter plumage. That is why so chubby.

It's difficult to catch the red! I found I have to have the camera in burst mode to even have a chance. They're so cute when they're pudgy :)
I am usually used to seeing an oval structure with white behind. Thnx Cindy. I love these birds . Right now they are in winter plumage and so chubby and adorable. I only wish I could spot them flashing the red ,
Hi Emma, in regards to your comment on my spotting, the second image on this series looks like the eye ball is behind the twig and the white feathers that are under it are showing.
I am surprised you could ID this one Liam! The eyes are almost like a humans!
