Description:
These berries are very popular with the Cedar Waxwings. Flocks of Cedar Wax wings can be seen feasting on these. These berries are poisonous when unripe. When ripened,they turn red and our safe for consumption by birds. The seeds remain toxic,however. The Cedar waxwings are the only birds that eat the berries and that can pass the entire seed thru their system and out.
