Species ID Suggestions

These are beauties. Pity the govt is trying to replace with native oak. Look for seed pods on the ground. Still the bark does give away a lot of information, Smooth, silver, non peeling non shedding. That itself is a great clue.i am sure somebody can come up with ID.
No clue Emma...the trees are so tall, its difficult to see anything else except the slender white trunk and branches
Seema, flowers, white or red? Also did you see any seed pods on the ground? The design on the seed pod, cross etc? These are valuable clues. Beautiful tree. Is this tree fragrant? Sometimes the morning air is filled with its fragrance. All these help.
Ya, eucalyptus definitely but the exact species name?
possibly a gumtree (Eucalyptus) but I guess you need an Aussie to help to get to species
