At first sight I thought the caterpillars are parasitized, but the regularity is confusing (even both at the same time?). So I think this is a normale appearance: caterpillar with white brushes... I am pretty sure it is a Saturniidae and Cerodirphia sp., but I can't get closer. http://caterpillars.unr.edu/lsacat/ecuador/species/saturniidae/20750/saturniid_20750.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/kwcharrisae.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/kwccutteri.htm
