Field Notes

Description:

Cap was 4-5cm across and fruitbody was 6-7cm tall. Growing in a neat coniferous wooded area with (possibly) pine trees (see 5th and 6th photo). There were other larger similar looking Russulas around up to 10 or 11cm across. The cuticle of this one peeled about 1/3 of the way to the centre of the cap
