Field Notes

Description:

Known for their prominent front legs, which suggests the position of prayer. Legs used to snare prey with quick reflexes making it difficult to see with the naked eye. Their green skin used to camouflage on plants among which they live.

Found in my garden

Habitat:

Subtropical climate.

Notes:

Population status: unknown, carnivores, life span: 1 year, and relatively the size of a tea cup
