I was thinking the same thing, but wouldn't a coot have white on its backside (under it's tail which is often lifted when in the water)? It is hard to tell from the picture quality on my netbook. But if Liam says so it is probably right. : ) I retract my ID.
You can kinda see the white bills, and that's definitely a coot silhouette.
