Description:

Tree with silver-green lanceolate leaves and pink, bottle brush flowers. Seed pods are red. The trunk is brownish gray.

Habitat:

Planted on the banks of Lake Poway

Eucalyptus torquata? The leaves look right but I didn't see orange barrel-shaped buds with horned caps but that could be because it was already in bloom.
