You´re welcome Antonio :) I identified with your spotting, here in Chile you see them on different urban places.
ORDEN: Passeriformes FAMILIA: Passeridae . Bird native to Europe, was brought to America by several people, perhaps as exotic birds. Perhaps because it is a bird of beautiful colors and melodic singing. Introduced in Chile in 1904, it spread with great speed and strength, and in some years and abundantly populated central area. Lives today and throughout the islands where it has been taken. No friend of the field, usually prefer the places populated by man. Their food consists of insects during the breeding season, and seeds and grains during the rest of the time. I like how they are using their tail feathers as props. It is similar to a woodpecker. Nice shots.
