I think you're on the right track with the smoky jungle frog guess. I can't really take it further.

auntnance,check Yasser's spottings for Costa Rican frogs. BTW,this is a lovely frog and spotting.Definitely not a Seed or Seed Pod!! I think that it was added here by mistake!!
