Yes, there is also a great variety of ferns ... You can find the guide on Chilebosque, is very interesting. :)
Yes! I have that book too. Is a fantastic resurce, I think there's free on-line version at Chilebosque. There's several endemic Convolvulus in Chile, in the summer I found a few Convolvulus demissus, in "La Parva". Today I saw a big Ipomea sp. near a creek in Santiago and some other Convolvulus I'm not familiar with.
Thanks for your comment Agustín !! I was reviewing a book on climbing plants, epiphytes and parasites native to Chile, there are species such as Convolvulus bonariensis Cav.,Convolvulus chilensis Pers.,Convolvulus hermanniae L´ Hér. :)
Pretty shots! Before reading this spotting I thought these where Convolvulus sp. but now I know they have their own genus. The "pointi", thin leafs beign the most telling characteristic. These are also known as "morning glory". I have these and some Convolvulus arvensis plaguing my garden.
Very pretty. Thanks for sharing the spotting.
