Habitat:

Nativo del sur de Chile y sur de Argentina, donde es conocido como coicopihue, requiere para prosperar de veranos frescos y húmedos, y una tierra humífera de tendencia ácida.

Notes:

Encontrar este ejemplar tan lejos de la costa me sorprendió, no sé cual es su distribución teórica pero siempre lo había visto sólo en la costa.<br>

Finding this specimen here, so far from coastal shores, surprised me. I have no idea what is the theoric distribution for this species, but this was an unexpected spotting.
