Field Notes

Description:

(Dorsal view). Smoky blue on french grey wings with the blue maximising towards centreline as progressively longer fur. Wingspan approx. 18mm. Antennae segmented with small clubs.

Habitat:

Grass.

Thanks martin. I've fallen in love with these now that I have seen the 'top' view. The 'common' name is a disservice.
This is the only local lycaenid that is easy to find. What a beautiful photo.
