Field Notes

Description:

About 10 to 12 mm in length, with orange elytra with large white spots. Borders of elytras white or transparent.

Habitat:

Lives in woodland and feeds mainly on mildew and aphids - I guess it ended up on our balcony by error... we live close by a wooded areas, and first instance is quite well wooded town park (mixed alpine vegetation).

Notes:

I just dug it out from my "unidentified archives" or "bottom of the drawer" folder... This fella visited us briefly couple of years ago, and I never saw his likes again...
