Description:

Is a perennial bulbous plant is considered invasive for its ease of propagation. The leaves are basal, 3 to 10, more than 40 cm long and 3 cm wide sword-shaped, glossy, medium green.
It blooms from spring to summer.
There are many varieties

Habitat:

Rocky places, borders of fields, roadsides, gardens. In all parts of the Mediterranean region

Notes:

At low doses acts as an expectorant and diuretic. Indicated for bronchitis, asthma, emphysema. Stomatitis and aggravation of dentinción, in external use
