Description:

It is a small beetle that has red and blue on the wings and elytra.The beetle also has an ability to jump to get away from preadetors.It is found on many plants but they really like mint and other low growing plants like chinese lantern and weeds.The elytra has shiny dark blue and the abdomen and thorax has a bright red.

Habitat:

Semi-urban habitat, Fort Worth, Texas.

This species is found in most parts of North America, but are most commonly found in the southern a
Half.
