Field Notes

Description:

Wingspan 6,5 - 7,5cm. It has an extension like a tail on the hind wings. You can't see it in this picture, because this guy is quite damaged...

Habitat:

This one is on a meadow around 600m altitude.
Can be found in gardens, pastures, even forest areas, up to 2000m altitude. Common in Europe except the northern parts where is protected in some countries. You can find it usually from April to August
