this bird came to a cage that I left out with bird seeds and he never left, now he is my pet.

Apple...that is too cool, here is Houston, I did not see one in the zoo...would love to do that so I could get real close.

Yes, I was around 9 years old and one of my cousin's was standing with the door open and he flew out.....we tried to coax him from a tree for hours but he didn't want to come down. We lived in Michigan so I just hope he was smart enough to fly south before the winter. Here in Grand Rapids our local zoo has a giant budgie cage that you can walk into to feed them from a stick full of seeds, it's so cool! You are surrounded by 30-40 budgies.

that is awful...yeah all you can think is that someone has saved him/her.

I lost my bird (flew out the door one day when out of his cage) and I hope that someone like you was able to give him a home!
