Field Notes

Description:

Feathery marine algae with long, stalks. They seemed to branch off the main stalk irregularly. Very plentiful here.

Habitat:

At the edge of the water near mangroves and oyster reefs. The water was either salt or brackish. Growing alongside Merman's Shaving Brush (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1852350645) and Mermaid's Wineglass (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1914222354)
