Hi Johan Heyns In order to assure the accurate information on PN, I took a liberty to curate your spotting, and change the ID and references from Purple to Violet-backed Starling (a.k.a. Plum-colored or Amethyst starling). Purple starling is purple all-over (including belly), an its distribution do not inlude southern parts of African continent. Hope you don't mind my intervention. Cheers
I agree with Zlatan, the purple Starling has a purple head, turquoise back and blue breast/belly.
