Description:

Related to C. spinosa, the caperbush used commercially for their buds.

Notes:

Flower blooms at night, which is when the photo was taken. Bloom on a plant in my garden, grown from a local wild seed.

Local Bedouin collect and pickle the fruit collected and use the leaves medicinally.

Yes, very similar to that Large Caper. Interesting to see the different leaves on that one. We have several different caper species growing in Sinai. But this one is my favorite!
