Field Notes

Description:

These two black crows were sparring above me. They were circling around with one Turkey Vulture and one Red Tailed Hawk. I've never seen this gathering in such close proximity. They ended up leaving and not landing at a food source which I originally guessed was the cause of the gathering.

Habitat:

Above the house in hills with mixed chaparral.
