lol, and bit ashamed of my poor observational skills...glad i can laugh it off.

:) thanks satyen... the funny story about its identification.. i had the field book along with me and wasnt able to identify it on field... so i uploaded here and got identified. but later on i realized the same bird was on the front page of the field book Salim ali's book on indian birds in which i was searching for its id. :)

thank you alice... i will try for a better pic next time :) (just like that hoopoe) this one was late in the evening and that too among shades.... just wanted to know the species so i posted.
