Field Notes

Description:

Looking into sun so lost most of the colour detail, just the faintest hint of a brownish mantle. Dark wings and a dark mask with no obvious supercilium tend to suggest a Wheatear species, though the short wings might suggest a Sylvia Warbler species. My best guess is possibly a Black-eared Wheatear

Habitat:

Coastal marshes.
