Cope's Gray Tree Frog

The gray tree frogs are normally green when they are recent metamorphs. The white patch under the eye is your key character for knowing this is not a green tree frog, in addition to the bumpy skin like you mentioned. Then genetic analyses were done to separate gray/cope's gray from each other since you cannot visually tell them apart, and only cope's gray is found in the southeast US.
