Description:

These long elongated animals, belonging to the Myirdae actually feed on unripe grains of grass. Adults overwinter. So check the longer grasses along the roadsite and eventually in the garden to find these.
This specimen was found in the garden in one of the parts that held longer grasses...

Indeed they are not all that big and quite reactive. It actually flew away 2 times before I could make the shot ;-)
Nice shot Henk. These are pretty small I guess and if they are like ours they are very aware.
