while adult Herring Gull's look like fairly stereotypical Seagull's. the juvenile's are covered with these beautiful brown specks
Habitat:
around beaches and coastline. breeding up north around Canada and Alaska, but coming south around the Carolinas to settle down for most of the year
Notes:
herring gull adults look like fairly average seagulls, but their young have these beautiful brown speckles all over them up until they reach full maturity
