Life stage : adult
Gender : Female (no white markings on the oblique line on the underside of the hindwing, as in the case of male)

Habitat:

Spotted inside the car parking very close to open abandoned area with lot of plants.

Thank you SukanyaDatta and ashimgogoi.ag. Junonia iphita iphita is the subspecies. In this species, male has white markings on the oblique line on the underside of the hindwing as per Wikipedia. Can we differentiate gender in any other way? I will change Description accordingly. Thanks :)
