I´m also not able the species, but the juniper is sure, I think.
I agree with HansNew that it's a some type of juniper. Young juniper "needles" are very sharp and then usually become more scaly and smooth when they mature. From this picture it's hard to tell what species it could be.
based on the different "needles" in the upper part of the shot and the rest it should be some kind of juniper.
