Description:

The northern parula is a small warbler that breeds in eastern North America. They are often unseen as they usually forage in the treetops. They are mostly bluish-grey with yellow and rufous highlights. It has a thin bill, a short tail, and a white belly.

Habitat:

Spotted in a riparian forest along the Fourche La Fave River in Perry County, Arkansas.
