Field Notes

Notes:

There are several interesting things about this cocoon. First, it was standing upright, instead of hanging down as usual. Second, it mimics a sewed leaf, similar to those made by spiders, very common in the area. Third, what seems to be a hole in the middle part of its back is, actually, a darker surface, which gives the viewer the impression of emptiness. I am really curious about this one, I'll try to find out what comes out from it.
