Field Notes

Notes:

A tiny little butterfly that keeps low to the ground.
It's getting hot here and many of the bigger butterflies just aren't around during the day, so I'm down on my hands and knees trying to capture the little ones. They are shy, fly fast and jerkily and like to rest under the leaves, making them hard to capture.

Thanks Daniele, Thanks for confirming the ID> I tried to get a shot of the underwings! Waited and followed it round for a long while, till I lost it.. OH well...
I agree with Argybee pamsai. With these (the "blues") it's always great to get a shot of the underwings as the patterns are quite distinctive. But I know it's not always possible :-)
Is this a Lesser Grass Blue butterfly?
and here's it's cousin from 'home'... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8907100
