Habitat:

Favors shallow vegetated margins of freshwater streams entering estuaries. Reported from Palau, the Ryukyu Islands, the Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, New Caledonia, the Vanuatu, Fiji and Samoa, up to La Réunion, Comoros, and Madagascar.
