I have been unable to find confirmation of the presence of the genus Aphrophora in Java, Indonesia, but the reference in my Species ID Suggestion shows a photo of an Aphrophora sp. taken on the mainland of South Borneo (Kalimantan which is very close to Java where the photo in this spotting was taken.
