Description:

it is characteristic of stiff gliding...........it belongs to nymphalidae & i have seen this lovely guy many times near to my house, i think they are the "black & white" sailors in kerala;it would sit in leaves or flowers occasionally only!!

Habitat:

i found them in my garden;it can be seen even in some green near every houses
