Thank you very much for the correction and ID oxyjack! It's great to put a name to these.
Although it does resemble the shield bugs (Superfamily Pentatomoidea), this is actually a member of the leaf-footed bugs, the Coreidae, which belong to a different Superfamily, the Coreoidea.
