Wow! but, you may be consider about my tarantula spotting nearby (about a half kilometer) here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8672211. That was made me said that this one belong to tarantula's nest. I've seen the spotting, nice with the spider. Correct me if wrong! :)
I saw hole where Tarantula hide was just 40-45 mm broad.

One more, the hole is wide, but I've never seen the spider you mentioned. Can you give an example of the species? The hole is about 7 or 8 cm in diameter, as far as I remember.
Are you sure have you spotted Tarantula there..? I feel this of Funnel Spider's web.
I am not sure and not aware about Tarantula.
Last month I saw one Tarantula hide into hole in the ground. It was dark midnight.. Before camera settings it goes inside hole.
