Field Notes

Notes:

I found this banteng feces, approximately 40 cm in diameter. This animal native to Baluran National Park, of which IUCN status is ENDANGERED. They feed on grass, and also the invasive species 'prickly acacia' (Acacia nilotica) which now become serious problems in there. But, banteng's feces actually help spread the prickly acacia seed, because banteng also feed on that acacia. Serious problem!

Thanks Leuba! I hope so :)
Moved to mammals. A sign of wildlife belongs to the category of organism for which it is a sign. For example, a bird nest goes to birds, a turtle shell to reptiles, a mammal burrow to mammals, etc. :-)
