Hard to tell from this angle... but those yellow feet and where it was found lead me to think: Palmetto Tortoise Beetle (Hemisphaerota cyanea) see here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/8906 Coincidentally, I've been trying to photograph this beetle for about 2 years now...And I found it today...I'm posting it on here in a few minutes.
