Field Notes

Notes:

There are 3 different dragonflies in this series. All photographed at the same time in the same place. One sat on a leaf, one on a broken reed and the other on a rock. They would all fly around each other and land back at their spot, then lift their body up until they were doing a handstand of sorts. I would be interested to find the reason behind this behaviour if anyone knows. Is it courtship or territorial?
