Thanks for the ID, but I'm not sure these belong to T. pallidus. But my question is about the arrangement? Is that vary within a species? :) OK Ava T-B, nice information for me
.Because these aren't "intentionally" created, i don't think they belong in the Animal Architecture mission. But it is a lovely shot!
these are dead aphids. a parasitic wasp came by and laid eggs inside the aphid. the parasitic wasp larvae eat the aphid and leave the 'mummified' aphid bodies to find more aphids. these wasps are a beneficial insect for the garden
