The Wikipedia Reference, in my Species ID Suggestion. states that Statilia maculata is present in Asia, but Google Chrome's AI Overview is much more specific when asked if this species is present in Java. Quote:"Yes, Statilia maculata, also known as the Asian jumping mantis, is present in Indonesia. It is native to Southeast Asia, and Indonesia is part of that region. Specifically, it's found in Java, Borneo, and other parts of Indonesia."
