Description:

Photo take at -35 ft in a Caribbean reef. Filefish shape covered by numerous blue, broken stripes formed of dashes and dots, black spots and sporting a variety of shades of gray, brown and olive, the scrawled filefish pales or darkens its skin to blend with its background.

Habitat:

Inhabitant of the Coral reef, found in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans
sometimes find it a -100 mt.
